Aaudio Imports Introduces Four Amplifiers and Preamp by Aaron of Germany

072110.Aaron_XX.GIFAaudio Imports, a supplier of high-end audio products, has introduced into the U.S. market a family of four amplifiers and a preamplifier by Aaron of Germany.
 
Audio Imports' Aaron Series includes the two-channel No. 1.a Integrated High-End Amplifier, the two- channel No. 3 Millennium Stereo High End Amplifier, the No. 33 Cineast Three-Channel High-End Amplifier, the XX Anniversary Integrated High-End Amplifier, and the No. 22 Cineast Multi- Channel High End Preamplifier. The company hand machines the polished, brushed aluminum chassis in-house at its German manufacturing plant.

Priced between $3,200 and $5,500, the Aaron Series amps and preamp, like all Aaron Series components, are manufactured to conform to emerging new Green Market standards. All the components comply with the Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, an international environmental initiative for reducing the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and flame-retarding polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ether in electronic equipment.

No. 1.a Integrated Amplifier

The No. 1.a Integrated High-End Amplifier, successor to Aaron's No. 1 Amplifier, delivers 95 watts continuous power to each of two channels at 8 ohms, 160 watts at 4 ohms, and 250 watts at 2 ohms. The total harmonic distortion (THD) is 0.0127 percent at 8 ohms. The front panel includes an Input selector, a 64-step Volume dial with a Standby function, and a blue two-line LCD display. The rear panel includes six sets of gold-plated RCA inputs, a tape output, a processor loop, a preamp output that makes it possible to connect an additional amplifier for bi-amping, and a set of speaker connectors that accept spades, banana plugs or bare wire. An infrared remote control milled from a single block of aluminum is also supplied. The No. 1.a is available in brushed aluminum in Aaron silver or in a night-black shade, with other colors available at an additional charge. The suggested price is $5,500 (US MSRP).

No. 3 Millennium Amplifier

The No. 3 Millennium Stereo High-End Amplifier delivers 100 watts continuous power to each of two channels at 8 ohms, 180 watts at 4 ohms, 320 watts at 2 ohms, and 550 watts at 1 ohm. The THD is 0.0087 percent at 8 ohms. The No. 3 Millennium is available in brushed aluminum in Aaron silver or in a night-black shade, with other colors available at an additional charge. The suggested price is $3,950 (US MSRP).

No. 33 Cineast Amplifier

The No. 33 Cineast Three-Channel High-End Amplifier delivers 100 watts continuous power to each of three channels at 8 ohms, 180 watts at 4 ohms, 320 watts at 2 ohms, and 550 watts at 1 ohm. The THD is 0.0087 percent at 8 ohms.

Connections include gold-plated RCA jacks for three input channels. The No. 33 Cineast is available in brushed aluminum in Aaron silver or in a night-black shade, with other colors available at an additional charge. The suggested price is $5,500 (US MSRP).

XX Anniversary Amplifier

The XX Anniversary Integrated High-End Amplifier is a limited edition two-channel model. It includes connections for six devices, such as a CD player, tuner and recorder, as well as a pre-amp output for bi- amping. The amplifier delivers 80 watts continuous power to each of two channels at 8 ohms, 140 watts at 4 ohms, 270 watts at 2 ohms, and 300 watts at 1 ohm. The THD is 0.0014 percent at 8 ohms. The front panel includes an Input selector, a 64-step Volume dial with a Standby function, and a blue two-line LCD display. The rear panel includes gold-plated RCA line inputs for six devices, two binding post speaker outputs, and two- channel preamp outputs. An IR remote control is also supplied. The XX Anniversary is available in brushed aluminum in Aaron silver or in a night-black shade, with other colors available at an additional charge.. The suggested price is $3,200 (US MSRP), plus $350 for the optional remote control.

No. 22 Cineast Preamplifier

The No. 22 Cineast Multi-Channel High-End Preamplifier is a six- channel model designed to serve as the central control of a high-end stereo or surround sound music system, commanding the operation of up to eight devices, including a CD player, a tuner, a DVD player, surround sound equipment, and a recording device. Features include a volume control that allows users to set the level to the exact decibel, a blue two-line LCD operating display embedded in a 10-mm thick aluminum front panel, and an IR remote control made from a block of milled aluminum. Connections include six sets of gold-plated RCA inputs and outputs. The No. 22 Cineast complements Aaron's No.3 Millennium amplifier for stereo sound and No. 33 Cineast amplifier for surround sound. The No. 22 is available in brushed aluminum in Aaron silver or in a night-black shade, with other colors available at an additional charge. The suggested price is $3,900 (US MSRP).
