Founded in 1987, Acoustic Energy made its name with its AE1 Monitor Loudspeaker featuring metal cone technology, luxurious cabinetry, and robust, elegant pedestal.

In late 2008, Acoustic Energy is making another push to re-establish themselves as a player in the very competitive United States speaker market. With their focus on audiophiles, their window of Baby Boomers to sell to is quickly closing but their high quality speakers do speak to those looking for an impressively good musical image from a small, bookshelf speaker.
