Auton

Auton was one of the first companies to bring television lifts to the awareness of home theater installers and consumers alike.
Today Auton lifts can hide HDTVs in ceilings, in cabinets or even in the floors and with the pressing of one button - they can appear, rotate and or articulate to the end user's delight.
Founded in 1955 by Virgil Walker, Auton is still one of the largest TV lift manufactures.

Notable products include the Auton Standard, Slim, and Plasma lifts, along with the Auton Ceiling Drop Down and Ceiling Flip-Down mounts.
Similar companies include Chief, Peerless, Sanus and Vutec.
