Electrocompaniet recently introduced their new ECR 1 Tuner. This model has been developed to extend the Electrocompaniet product range with a long awaited FM/RDS/HD/Internet radio for audiophile and home theater applications.

A fully fledged 192kHz/24bit DAC section including sample rate converter is included to handle the delicate digital to analogue conversion of the digital radio. Three digital inputs are also provided letting the ECR 1 be used as a stand alone high-end external DAC. This means that through the S/PDIF interface you can connect your CD/DVD player to our new ECR 1 model if desired.

Optional plug-in modules are available to include HD Radio and/or Internet radio, a USB interface will also be made available.

Like all other models in the Electrocompaniet's Classic line the ECR 1 features a fully balanced and symmetrical analogue output section, terminated in a balanced and single-ended output connection.
