Halcro

Based in Austrialia, Halco is an audiophile company that came to prominence
in the early 2000's from the brain trust of a mine sweeper company.
Their $30,000 monoblock amps received a review that called them "The Best Amplifiers in the World" and their sales boomed among audiophiles who could afford the steep price tag.
To augment their cost-no-object audiophile line of products, Halcro offered their Halcro Logic line of AV preamps, multi-channel amps and DVD sources for the CEDIA and home theater audiences.
In late 2008, Halcro has made significant changes to their ownership and their distribution in the United States thus working with a fulfillment house in California not with a traditional rep network. Today, seemingly some of their support comes from South Africa.
