HomeTheaterReview.com recently celebrated its first year in publication with over 130,000 monthly readers, over 10,000 "fresh" opt-in email names on our subscriber list and a Google Page Rank 4 that is trending up 17.5 percent per month. Despite the AV publishing industry's recent trend of firing editors and writers and cutting costs - HomeTheaterReview.com is far from done improving and adding to the site.

Today, HomeTheaterReview.com added a completely redesigned search section on the site's home page. The overall site search (simply type anything into the search window) is greatly improved, resulting in more relevant search results with better organization. Below the fold (meaning scroll down below the dealer map on the home page), the new by-category search is also dramatically improved. Readers can see each of the review categories on the site with the five most recent reviews. They can also see the total number of reviews in the category, have access to the "classic" or archived reviews as well as search by category via a pull-down menu.

"We want our readers to know that HomeTheaterReview.com is investing more than any other specialty audio-video publication in these often tough economic times" says publisher, Jerry Del Colliano. "The new search functionality is only one of the many projects we have in the works. Our Zagat-like dealer search will be completed for the United States in the next few days. Our secondary pages are being redesigned in the next 14 days to offer more intuitive results. We have an ultra-sophisticated zip code search for our dealer section going into effect next week, that uses latitude and longitude to offer readers only the best dealers near them. We have an improved review page layout coming in the next few weeks that will add stickiness to the site by allowing the reader easy access to more content."

HomeTheaterReview.com, in one short year, has become a leading home theater and audiophile review site, with more readers than most other publication in print or online. HomeTheaterReview.com is published in Beverly Hills, California.
