The Groove has a weather-resistant cabinet and, in addition to Bluetooth, includes a 3.5mm aux input. It's on sale now for $149.

From Klipsch
Klipsch has announced the introduction of its Klipsch Groove ultra portable Bluetooth speaker. This is the first speaker in a new series that Klipsch will introduce over the next year.

The Klipsch Groove Portable Bluetooth speaker (U.S. MSRP $149) delivers big sound from a small, water-resistant (IPX4 compliant) form factor. Measuring at just over 5 inches wide by 4 inches high and 2 inches deep and housing a long-lasting battery, this pint-sized mobile music venue allows you to take the live sound experience anywhere and rock for hours on end.

The Bluetooth-enabled Klipsch Groove speaker is designed for powerful, accurate sound reproductions. With one 3-inch, full-range high-output driver and two 2-inch side-firing oval-shaped passive bass radiators, the Klipsch Groove produces amazingly detailed output while creating deep, realistic bass. Completing the lifelike music experience is 10 watts of digital power.

The Klipsch Groove has an aesthetic appeal featuring a perforated metal grille that aggressively showcases its acoustic components and a protective, anti-skid rubber inlay with integrated, embossed control buttons. Its IPX4-certified rating makes it water resistant so it can go the distance around water without being damaged.

The Klipsch Groove easily connects to Bluetooth transmitting devices in seconds and also plays any portable music source through its 3.5mm input. It also remembers up to eight previously connected Bluetooth devices for quick and painless reconnection. The Klipsch Groove utilizes a rechargeable Lithium battery that delivers up to eight hours of listening.

"This is the first product in an excitingly large lineup of wireless speakers that Klipsch will introduce over the next several years. The Klipsch Groove is a solution for people that want quality audio on the go as technology advances and content is consumed in different formats," notes Steve Jain, VP and GM of Digital, Streaming and Portable Audio Solutions at Klipsch.

Available in a black finish, the Klipsch Groove comes with a power supply and micro USB charging cable. The product is available now through authorized retailers and at Klipsch.com. Additional speakers in this series will be added in 2016.
