Home automation audio will no longer require expensive equipment and installation with the introduction of M1 Speakers from Nepsu this fall. When multiple Bluetooth 4.0--enabled M1s are placed throughout a home or office, users can move from room to room, and have crisp audio follow them. Nepsu's built-in control app for smart phone devices enables the switch from one unit or stereo pair to another with just a few clicks.

"The M1 Speaker and accompanying app deliver an intuitive interface simple enough for anyone to quickly master, at a price-point the average consumer can afford, all while delivering high-fidelity, uncompromising sound."

Keeping in mind that sound waves reverberate between parallel surfaces, Nepsu designed the 40W M1s in a tetrahedral shape, allowing them to be placed unobtrusively in the corner of a room, allowing them to blend into the environment. The positioning reduces parallel surfaces in addition to producing a natural audio amplification effect from the wall junction.

Achieving high-fidelity sound quality was not the only objective when designing the M1. The speakers, also visually appealing, are available in sleek black, gold or grey brushed and anodized aluminum plating. An intuitive user interface menu can be accessed via the app, placing the highest level of control on the phone of the user.

Audio buffs that want to be first to try these speakers can pre-order M1s exclusively via the company's Kickstarter campaign starting at a $199 CAD contribution per speaker. Nepsu's founders have already invested more than $150,000 CAD of their own money during the design, technology licensing and testing phases. The $100,000 CAD sought through crowd sourcing would be used to fund production.

"Home automation audio does not need to be exclusive to the affluent and tech enthusiasts," Trung Hoa Huynh, Co-Founder, Nepsu, said. "The M1 Speaker and accompanying app deliver an intuitive interface simple enough for anyone to quickly master, at a price-point the average consumer can afford, all while delivering high-fidelity, uncompromising sound."
