At the heart of Media Core 600 lies what Meridian claims is the most powerful Sooloos system core to date. Incorporating a pair of 2TB hard disk drives configured as a RAID 1 array Media Core 600 provides enough primary storage for around 5000 CD albums, and always maintains an automatic mirrored copy of your complete collection.

Media Core 600 claims to be an all-in-one solution that combines a new and powerful system core, integrated storage, and six audio end-points. Housed in a brand new case design, Media Core 600 incorporates a switch-mode power supply and cooling system, both of which make rack-mounting and operation easier and more reliable.

Features:
• Media Core 600 not only stores and manages your entire digital music collection but, when connected to the internet it also provides access to thousands of internet radio stations, plus streamed music services from Rhapsody.

• Media Core 600 connects easily to a range of control options including wirelessly to the free Sooloos App for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

• Connect Media Core 600 to any of Meridian's DSP Loudspeakers - from the in-wall DSP420 to the Reference DSP8000 - to create an all Meridian, fully digital, distributed audio system.

• Media Core 600 incorporates six audio end-points, each with a suite of Meridian's audio enhancing DSP, plus diverse connectivity that allows connection in to almost any audio system.

•Network Media Core 600 with any other Meridian Sooloos products to build and expand the system as your requirements dictate.
