Phase Tech
Phase Tech is a speaker manufacturer founded in Kansas in 1955 by Bill Hecht, inventor of the soft-dome tweeter.Phase Tech grew from the movie theater sound industry. An established engineer in that space, Mr. Hecht decided to use his knowledge to help pioneer the budding home audio market. After Avery Fisher (of Fisher Electronics) decided to use some of Hecht's designs to establish Fisher in the home speaker market, the company further built its OEM business to one of the biggest in the world.

Today, Phase Tech makes loudspeaker products for many famous brands across the world, and owns several patents, including one for the soft-dome tweeter (which has gained virtually ubiquitous use in the industry) and some regarding in-wall loudspeakers. Phase Tech also has also established its own brand in many domestic and international markets.
Phase Tech also remains one of the few loudspeaker companies to produce all of its products in-house, from its Jacksonville, Florida facility, from the drivers and voice coils to the cabinets and finishes.
