Revel-Performa-IC15.gifRevel displays its Performa IC15 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker at this CEDIA Expo. The Performa IC15 benefits from Revel's innovations in transducer technology and engineering resources. The result is an in-ceiling loudspeaker that reproduces the signal source with minimal distortion and coloration while providing the custom installer flexibility for Left/Center/Right/Surround or stand-alone placement.

A direct product of an R&D initiative employing the resources of parent company Harman International Industries, the IC15 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker features a rectangular flat-panel low frequency driver with MCC (Micro-Ceramic Composite) 7-3/4" X 3-3/8" diaphragm (equivalent to a 6-1/2" woofer), dual 3" MCC midrange drivers and a 1" pure titanium dome high-frequency driver. The IC15 has a frequency range of 80Hz - 20kHZ (± 3dB) with a low frequency acoustic response specifically tailored for blending with a subwoofer (industry-standard @ 80Hz). Its "fully-flush," in-ceiling design allows for a variety of placement options while performing in Left/Center/Right or Surround applications, and "on" and "off-axis." Its round construction allows aiming of Left, Center, Right or Surround locations after the installation. The IC15 utilizes a High-Order (24 dB/octave) Crossover network, and provides a boundary compensation switch for installations near secondary walls.

The new Revel Performa IC15 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker measures 12-3/4" W x H (mounting cutout diameter measures 11-3/8" W x H) with a mounting depth of 5-5/8" and weighs 8 lbs.

The Revel Performa IC15 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker is currently available.
