Revel® has expanded its range of Concerta™ Series Loudspeakers with the addition of the new B120 Powered Subwoofer. A direct result of an extensive R&D initiative, the B120 Powered Subwoofer was designed to complement the entire line of Revel Concerta Series Loudspeakers including the new M8, M10, C10 and LCR8 Concerta On-wall speakers. Additionally, the B120 Powered Subwoofer can be used with other loudspeaker systems.

The B120 subwoofer delivers bass from a surprisingly compact enclosure, and offers adjustable controls, parametric room equalization and multiple connection options. An optional wireless transmitter simplifies installation.

Featuring its proprietary long-excursion 12" (305mm) woofer with 1-1/2" (38mm) peak-to-peak excursion, the B120 has a matched, integrated 250-Watt RMS amplifier (<0.1% THD from 20 Hz to 150 Hz), low-pass crossover (50 Hz to 150 Hz, 24 db/octave continuously variable), with a low frequency extension of -3 db @ 36 Hz (anechoic -6 db @ 32 Hz, -10 db @ 29 Hz). The B120's proprietary woofer diaphragm is constructed of micro ceramic composite (MCC), a new material created by anodizing both sides of an aluminum core. The B120 spider incorporates a Nomex®/cotton blend with optimized geometry.

The large ceramic magnet motor system includes a 2" (51mm)- diameter copper voice coil wound on a Kapton® bobbin for high power handling, and a vented center pole for heat dissipation. The B120 also features a parametric room EQ function, with controls for frequency, level and bandwidth, line level RCA inputs, phase switch, and bass volume level control. Additionally, the B120 cabinet is constructed of rigid MDF with internal bracing, and utilizes a downward-firing port and rubber-padded feet.

With the optional TX1 wireless transmitter connected to the users audio system, the B120 can be placed anywhere in the room (without cables) within reach of an AC outlet. One or two B120 subwoofers can be operated with a single TX1 transmitter.

Measuring 17-3/4" (450mm) high x 15-3/4" (400mm) wide x 14" (356mm) deep (including feet and grill) and weighing 51 lbs (23.2kg), the new Revel Concerta B120 Powered Subwoofer is available in black, silver or cherry finishes.
