Russound-TVA2.1.jpgFor those who want to bid adieu to those lousy TV speakers and add a higher-performance 2.1-channel speaker system--without cluttering up the look of the install--Russound has introduced the TVA2.1 digital amplifier, a 35-watt-per-channel stereo amp with a subwoofer output. The petite TVA2.1 can be mounted discreetly behind your wall-mounted TV, and it has three inputs (analog, coaxial, and optical). Contact a Russound dealer for more information.

From Russound
Whole-house audio market innovator Russound has set out to vastly improve the audio experience of flat panel TV users with the new TVA2.1 Digital Amplifier. Available exclusively through Russound's network of custom installer partners, the TVA2.1 is an easy upgrade to any television that bypasses onboard speakers and transforms dull flat panel TV audio.

The TVA2.1 has a very thin form factor that allows discrete mounting behind TVs, in a wall box or directly attached to a TV mount. The unit packs 35 watts per channel, with a separate subwoofer out. Three line-level inputs (analog, coaxial and optical) can accommodate any TV audio source, providing easy integration while giving installers a new option for clean and balanced power to outboard speakers.

"It's no secret that most built-in speakers can't effectively reproduce the dynamic range of special audio effects, dialogue and music in video entertainment," noted Russound CEO Charlie Porritt. "We have zeroed in on this core problem, and solved it with the TVA2.1. Like most good ideas, it's simple and it works beautifully."

A unique feature of the TVA2.1 is its elegant, yet simple IR remote function. The unit can be operated with any existing system remote once it has "learned" three basic commands - volume up, volume down, and mute.

With Russound's introduction of the TVA2.1, consumers no longer need an expensive receiver to optimize flat panel TV audio performance. Nor do they require another complex remote control system, making the TVA2.1 a great option for bringing better sound for TV to every television in the home.
