The UB30 Series includes screen sizes of 43, 50, 55, and 65 inches, with prices ranging from just $799.99 up to $2,399.99. The UB30 is a Smart TV with HEVC and VP9 decoding to stream Netflix and YouTube in Ultra HD. These are edge-lit LED/LCDs, and the 65-inch model includes local dimming to improve black-level performance.

Sharp has announced the nationwide availability of the AQUOS UB30 series 4K Ultra HD LED smart TVs. With four times the pixel resolution of Full HD, these affordably priced 4K Ultra HD smart TVs are packed with stunning features to give you an exciting TV experience, no matter what you're watching.

For the first time, Sharp offers 4K UHD TVs that are available for less than $1,000. The UB30 series includes Sharp AQUOS TVs in 43" (42.5" diagonal), 50" (49.6" diagonal), 55" (54.6" diagonal) and 65" (64.5" diagonal) Class screen sizes, with both the 43" and 50" priced at $799.99 and $999.99, respectively.

The Sharp AQUOS UB30 series comes equipped with picture optimizing technologies like Sharp's Revelation Upscaler, which displays all content at near 4K UHD quality, and AquoMotion 120 (43", 50", 55" Class sizes) and AquoMotion 240 (65" Class), which deliver smooth motion and reduced blur during fast motion scenes, to give you an amazing picture no matter the content source. The 65" UB30 also features local dimming, to produce deep blacks and incredible contrast. All models have a slim profile and ultra-narrow bezel for a sleek, modern design.

With the Sharp AQUOS UB30 series of LED Smart TVs, 4K UHD content is readily accessible from streaming sources such as Netflix and YouTube. Sharp AQUOS UB30 series models are also equipped with SmartCentral, which brings all your content together in one interface (including cable, satellite or streaming services), so you can search for content, get recommendations based on your preferences, and easily navigate your viewing experience from a single remote control or your smart mobile device. All UB30 4K LED smart TVs also include an IR Blaster Dongle, allowing you to control your cable box and television from the bundled remote. Connectivity is made easy with HDMI inputs featuring 4K UHD specs, including HEVC/H.265 and VP9, an all new codec that allows 4K content to play back in its native form, as well as built-in Wi-Fi.
