The new PT-7020C4 7.1 media processor/controller and SR-120C4 7.1 media processor/controller/amplifier offer the value and performance associated with the Sherbourn name.
Offering performance with the benefit of Control4 technology, the PT-7020C4 7.1 processor/controller (SRP: $3,399) features specially designed audio stages, with dual core DSP processors to handle the latest high definition audio codecs and algorithms. Sherbourn offers drivers for iPad and iPhone integration.
Designed with the installer in mind, the PT-7020C4 features full Ethernet control, HDMI 1.3a capability, 3D compatibility, HDMI true bypass mode, balanced I/O on 7.1 channels, a Genesis/Torino scaling engine, and a full color on-screen display with transparency over live video.
The SR-120C4 7.1 media receiver (SRP: $2,499) is geared to end-users who are looking for performance that is typically associated with separate components, but with the convenience and efficiency of an audio/video receiver. A toroidal power supply supports seven channels of 125W amplification. 32 bit dual core DSP processors handle high definition audio codecs and algorithms.
Similar to the PT-7020C4 processor/controller, the SR-120C4 media receiver is HDMI 1.3a compatible, with an Ethernet control port, 3D hardware bypass, and iPhone/iPad drivers are available. Both models will ship in late Q1.
