From Sony
Sony Electronics announced the Internet-based live TV service PlayStation Vue is now available on all Sony's premium Android TVs. PlayStation Vue gives consumers a better option to watch their favorite live TV, movies and sports content without a cable or satellite subscription. PlayStation Vue provides simultaneous streaming on a variety of devices from a single account, and allows viewers to save thousands of hours of their favorite shows without recording conflicts on PlayStation Vue's innovative cloud DVR.

"The launch of PlayStation Vue on our premium Sony Android TVs demonstrates our continuing commitment to customer choice. If owners of Sony Android TVs are ready to cut the cord - or just want to give streaming services a try - they can download the PlayStation Vue app from Google Play store today." said Mike Fasulo, President and COO of Sony Electronics.

PlayStation Vue is available today on all sizes of the Sony Android TV models X700D, X750D, X800D, X850D, X930D, X940D, Z9D. PlayStation Vue plans start at $29.99 per month; $39.99 in cities with most major live local broadcast stations. With an Internet connection and a PlayStation Vue-supported device, there are no additional fees, such as monthly set-top box fees, or long-term contracts. A seven-day free trial for PlayStation Vue is available to new customers.

Sony 4K HDR Ultra HD TVs
Sony's exclusive user interface for Android TV lets viewers explore a world of movies, music, photos, games, search, apps and more. TV lovers can watch hit shows and timeless movies from Google Play and share content from a smartphone or tablet, from their TV. And with Google Cast, users can cast their favorite entertainment apps such as HBO GO from their Android or iOS device, Mac or Windows computer or Chromebook to the TV. In addition, Android TV's Voice Search feature has been enhanced to support natural language voice actions and longer, more complex sentences.
