Yamaha just introduced the AVENTAGE BD-A1010 Blu-ray Disc Player with 3D playback. This model enables Internet video streaming via Netflix, Blockbuster on Demand and YouTube Leanback compatibility, and provides dual USB (front/rear) inputs for a wide-array of audio and video sources. Features include compatibility with a free downloadable iPhone app for component and A/V system control. A similar app for Android devices will be introduced later this year.Additional Resources

By pressing the SCENE BD/DVD button on a current Yamaha AV receiver remote control, users can turn on the power to the receiver and the BD-A1010 and begin disc playback. The BD-A1010 offers full HD Audio decoding, 1080p/24Hz-compatible HDMI and 7.1 multi-channel analog output as well as 2-channel down-mixed audio output. The BD-A1010 is a Universal Blu-ray Disc Player that also plays SACD and DVD-Audio formats in addition to offering compatibility with DivX Plus HD, AVCHD, WMV, MOV, JPEG (HD), MP3, MP4, WMA, WAV and AAC content. The BD-A1010 also features x.v.Color and Deep Color enhancements for video playback.
The Yamaha BD-A1010 carries an MSRP of $499.95.
