Acer has announced the addition of three new gaming monitors to its Predator lineup, aiming to meet the needs of both professional gamers and gaming enthusiasts. The newly unveiled models—Predator X27U F3, Predator X32 X3, and Predator X34 X5—feature OLED displays, high refresh rates, and advanced performance capabilities.
The Predator X27U F3 is a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor designed to deliver a seamless gaming experience. This model boasts a WQHD (2560x1440) resolution, ensuring sharp and detailed visuals. One of the main features of the Predator X27U F3 is its impressive 480 Hz refresh rate and 0.01 ms pixel response time, making it one of the fastest gaming monitors available. These specifications are crucial for gamers who need rapid response times and smooth visuals, particularly in fast-paced games.
The monitor is also equipped with multiple connectivity options, including Type-C and two HDMI 2.1 ports, making it versatile for both console and PC gaming. An additional feature is the tripod mount socket on the monitor stand, which allows users to attach accessories such as webcams or screen lights, enhancing the overall gaming and streaming setup.
For gamers who prioritize both high resolution and high refresh rates, the Predator X32 X3 offers a compelling package. This model features a large 31.5-inch OLED display with a 4K UHD (3840x2160) resolution. The refresh rate of this monitor is 240 Hz, with a 0.03 ms response time, ensuring fluid gameplay.
One of the unique features of the X32 X3 is its dynamic frequency and resolution capability, allowing gamers to switch between 4K UHD at 240 Hz and Full HD at 480 Hz. This flexibility caters to different gaming needs, from immersive role-playing games to competitive esports titles.
The X32 X3 is also equipped with Type-C and two HDMI 2.1 ports, providing robust connectivity options for various gaming setups.
The largest of the new releases, the Predator X34 X5, features a 34-inch ultrawide OLED display with a 1800R curvature. This model is designed to offer an immersive gaming experience with its UWQHD (3440x1440) resolution. It supports a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time, providing smooth and responsive gameplay.
In addition to its impressive display characteristics, the Predator X34 X5 includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort, and a Type-C port, offering multiple connectivity options for gamers.
All three monitors are NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible and integrate AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which helps to eliminate visual artifacts such as stuttering and tearing. This should ensure a smooth and tear-free gaming experience.
The monitors also feature true 10-bit color depth, providing vibrant and accurate colors, enhanced further by the DCI-P3 99% color gamut and Delta E<1 color accuracy. The VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification ensures deep blacks and bright highlights, contributing to lifelike visuals.
For user comfort, the new monitors come with adjustable tilt, swivel, and height settings, allowing gamers to find their ideal viewing angle. They also include two 5-watt speakers for audio output and a built-in KVM switch, enabling users to control multiple PCs with a single keyboard and mouse setup.
Acer has also incorporated several technologies to reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions, such as BlueLightShield Pro, flickerless, low-dimming, and ComfyView features. To protect the OLED panels, Acer has included screen protection mechanisms like Display Saver, Constant Brightness, and Image Retention Refresh.
