A/D/S

A/D/S is a speaker company best known for their car audio products but in the 1970's and 1980's they successfully sold mid-priced audio speakers. A/D/S is best known for their "plate" car stereo speakers. Interestingly, many A/D/S speakers used drivers made by Braun, the high-profile German company best known for its stylish electric shavers and coffee makers. Back in 2007, Directed Electronics (owner of Definitive Technology, among others) put out the HT300 bookshelf speaker, which was likely the last appearance of the A/D/S brand.

Popular models of A/D/S speakers include:

A/D/S 710
A/D/S L500A
A/D/S 1530

The company appears to be defunct now with no website or address available.
