Ambisonic Systems Partners with Origin Acoustics for First Residential Outdoor Speaker

If you've been thinking about ways to get theater-quality sound outdoors, there's a new option for you to consider. Ambisonic Systems has introduced the Landscape Ribbon Six, the company's first residential speaker. The LSR6 is available through Origin Acoustics, which will also serve as the worldwide distributor of Ambisonic Systems' entire loudspeaker line.

Read on for full details, directly from Origin Acoustics and Ambisonic:

Origin Acoustics, the leading manufacturer of architectural audio and the inventor of the tool-less mounting system, is now the exclusive source for the next product that is certain to shape the path of custom integration: The Ambisonic Systems Landscape Ribbon Six. Created by renowned speaker designer Jeff Coombs and his team, this revolutionary loudspeaker is the next iteration in a long line of audiophile Pro-luxury speakers designed by Jeff Coombs. Origin Acoustics has partnered to become the worldwide distributor of all Ambisonic Systems products.

What makes this landscape loudspeaker unique and compelling is its proprietary weatherized high-dispersion ribbon tweeter. For a speaker to create the fastest, cleanest reproduction of sound, a ribbon-style driver is practically required. The LSR6's 2.7" magnetic planar tweeter is the only one like it on the market. By choosing the same exotic materials selected by scientists for space travel, these drivers are indeed are the next generation of ribbon technology.  The mathematically precise waveguide improves the beam width to 110-degrees. A world-class neodymium glass fiber driver gives the mid-range clarity, and any of the matching Ambisonic Subwoofers fill out the low-end with concert level depth and loudness.

Built to last, Ambisonic Systems has spent the last seven years producing Pro Audio gear for the world's most exquisite venues and theaters. They've taken the best of the lessons learned in that industry, their heritage of designing world-class systems, and distilled it into their first residential speaker, the LSR6

The Landscape Ribbon Six is now available from Origin Acoustics along with the full line of Ambisonic Systems' high-performance loudspeakers. Their combined portfolio includes a vast line of outdoor audio solutions for any situation or location. Custom Outdoor Soundbars, Weatherized Line-Arrays, Triple-Bandpass Burial Subwoofers, and more are now available to all Origin Acoustics customers.
