Apogee Acoustics

Founded in 1982, Apogee produced one of the industry's most acclaimed lines of ribbon loudspeakers. Famous for their lethal combination of transparency and load difficulty, Apogee produced a series of models until its demise in the late 1990s, including the original full range "The Apogee" and the top-of-the-line Grand. The company also produced some hybrid models incorporating dynamic loudspeaker elements as a complement to the ribbon.

An Australian company that originally acted as a repair house for Apogee, has purchased the Apogee Acoustics name and now sells new ribbon designs as well as repairs older Apogee models.
