Aqara showed up big at CES 2025, rolling out a whole lineup of new smart home gadgets designed to make life easier, smarter, and more connected. From sleek touchscreen panels to advanced sensors, Aqara’s latest devices aim to simplify how we manage our homes, all while staying compatible with the latest standards like Matter.
Among them, the Panel Hub S1 Plus stood out so much that we awarded it the Best of CES award. Its clever design allows it to replace a standard light switch while still being able to control the connected circuit, combining practicality with cutting-edge functionality.
The Panel Hub S1 Plus is Aqara’s first in-wall control panel, and it’s making waves. Imagine replacing a regular light switch with a 6.9-inch touchscreen that lets you control everything from your lights and cameras to thermostats and blinds. No more hunting down your phone or yelling at a voice assistant—the S1 Plus puts control literally at your fingertips.
It’s not just pretty; it’s smart too. It works as a hub for Zigbee devices and bridges them into the Matter ecosystem, meaning it plays nice with a variety of smart home platforms. The panel’s customizable widgets and themes let you tailor it to your style, and it even doubles as a display for live camera feeds or family photos. Launches are set for Europe this month, with a U.S. release expected later in 2025.
If you’re looking for something a bit more compact, Aqara’s Touchscreen Switch S100 and Touchscreen Dial V1 combine old-school switch functionality with modern tech.
If touchscreens aren’t your thing, Aqara’s got you covered with updated options like the Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2, both of which work with Zigbee and Thread. They’re designed to work in homes without neutral wires, making them an easy upgrade for older spaces.
Aqara also introduced two new sensors to expand its lineup: the Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 and the Climate Sensor W100.
Both sensors run on either Thread or Zigbee, giving you plenty of flexibility when it comes to connectivity.
Aqara’s new Doorbell Camera Hub G410 isn’t just a doorbell—it’s a multitasker. Along with offering 2K video resolution and facial recognition, it also works as a Zigbee hub and a Matter controller. Whether it’s wired or running on battery, this doorbell can connect to Aqara devices and third-party products alike, giving you plenty of options for home security and automation.
Rounding out the lineup is the Hub M100, a compact and affordable option for those new to smart homes. It connects Aqara devices to third-party Matter products, thanks to its support for Zigbee, Thread, and Wi-Fi. It’s also a Thread Border Router, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to build out their smart home system.
Most of Aqara’s latest gadgets will hit the European market first, with U.S. launches planned for later this year.
