ARCAM Unveils Trio Of New Streamers: ARCAM Radia ST25, SA35, and SA45

In the ongoing High End Munich hi-fi show, ARCAM, now a part of the Harman Luxury Audio Group, has taken the stage to reveal three new products within its esteemed Radia line-up, the ARCAM Radia ST25, SA35, and SA45. These additions bolster the series to a total of eight models, including the A5, A15, and A25 amplifiers, the CD5 disc player, and the ST5 music streamer.

First in the lineup is the ARCAM Radia ST25, a digital audio player tailored for those with existing audio separates systems or individuals looking to construct a new Radia setup. Accompanying the ST25 are the ARCAM SA35 and ARCAM SA45 all-in-one systems, boasting G Class amplification and high-resolution music streaming capabilities. These units require nothing more than a pair of speakers for operation.

The ARCAM Radia ST25 serves as ARCAM's flagship music streamer, boasting the iconic Radia styling infused with a plethora of new technologies. It features a new digital audio and streaming platform, a redesigned linear toroidal power supply, and an enhanced user interface facilitated by a high-resolution color display.

Beneath its sleek exterior, the ST25 incorporates a comprehensive ground plane across its entire board, engineered to mitigate noise and interference, particularly from the more sensitive audio components. The Hyperstream IV DAC technology from ESS powers its audio processing capabilities, complemented by a linear toroidal transformer power supply, ensuring minimal noise levels across the device.

On the front, users are greeted by a 6.5-inch high-resolution display, while connectivity to Wi-Fi networks is facilitated through the ARCAM Radia set-up app, offering compatibility with Apple Airplay, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon. Additionally, the ST25 features a control link for seamless integration with ARCAM Radia amplifiers.

These units cater to both traditional and contemporary audio setups, featuring a switchable MC/MM phono stage for turntable connectivity and HDMI ARC for TV integration, allowing volume control and other functions via the audio remote.

For wireless streaming enthusiasts, the SA35 and SA45 offer two-way aptX Adaptive Bluetooth modules, facilitating direct streaming to the system or from the system to compatible wireless headphones.

Distinguishing the SA45 is its fully balanced digital and analog audio paths, redesigned power supply, and robust 180W per channel into 8Ω and 300W into 4Ω amplification capabilities. Meanwhile, the SA35 delivers 120W per channel into 8Ω and 220W into 4Ω, accompanied by a slightly smaller 6.5-inch high-resolution display.

Both units boast Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, subwoofer outputs, and Dirac Live Room Correction, improving the listening experience further. Each model is supplied with a measurement microphone and remote control to aid in room calibration.

Scheduled for release in September 2024, the ARCAM Radia ST25 will be priced at $1,499 / £1,499 / €1,799, while the ARCAM SA35 will retail for $3,499 / £2,999 / €3,499 and the ARCAM SA45 for $4,999 / £4,499 / €4,999. In the meantime, you can check out other ARCAM products at Crutchfield.
