The Control4 driver for Mirage Media Server has been developed to utilize Control4's graphic user interface (GUI), providing a seamless experience for discerning consumers. The new driver delivers complete, two-way feedback, metadata (such as Album, Artist, and Track information) and cover art for any Control4-based multi-room audio system, enabling users with a Control4 system to store, sync and stream all local content alongside Pandora internet radio, TuneIn Radio (RadioTime) and SiriusXM Internet Radio.
Users can also enjoy content on portable devices and in multiple homes with cloud-based backup and synchronization (compatible with Apple iCloud, Amazon Cloud Drive and Google Music). The direct digital connection between an MMS and the Control4 environment enables users to benefit from up to 1TB of internal storage and the capacity to stream uncompressed/lossless media and create content schedules that reportedly play automatically on any date, at any time, and in any location.
Cloud-based Mirage Media Servers solve the problem of fragmented music and video libraries by using Internet storage technologies to aggregate content from multiple locations into a single collection that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Autonomic solutions are engineered exclusively for custom integrators and can be configured and monitored remotely; making firmware upgrades an easy task and keeping customers happy.
