Bang & Olufsen has announced the release of the Beoplay Eleven, a premium pair of wireless earbuds that build on the legacy of the Beoplay EX. These earbuds aim to deliver an improved audio experience, combining advancements in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), call clarity, and design aesthetics inspired by fine jewelry.
The Beoplay Eleven introduces Bang & Olufsen's most advanced ANC technology to date, offering double the noise reduction at lower frequencies compared to its predecessor. This improvement is achieved through the integration of six updated microphones that provide faster and more efficient noise rejection, reducing hiss for a clearer and more natural audio experience.
A Transparency mode allows users to maintain awareness of their surroundings, offering an ambient sound experience that is said to be more natural than earlier models. Additionally, external microphones in the earbuds feature fine mesh padding and strategically placed holes in the stem, contributing to a more open sound profile and better wind pressure relief.
The earbuds also include a Wind Guard feature, accessible through the Bang & Olufsen app, which effectively filters out wind noise for improved performance in outdoor or high-noise environments.
The Beoplay Eleven earbuds are designed with aesthetics in mind, drawing inspiration from Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay H100 headphones and fine jewelry. The polished aluminum finish, combined with a glass touch interface, gives the earbuds a sleek and sophisticated look.
Available in two colorways, Natural Aluminum and Copper Tone, the earbuds are designed to cater to both classic and fashion-forward tastes. The lightweight aluminum charging case, finished with a pearl-blasted texture, complements the earbuds while providing durability and portability.
Bang & Olufsen emphasizes comfort with soft silicone ear tips that adapt to various ear shapes, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. The stem-based design further enhances microphone placement, improving sound quality while minimizing background noise.
With an IP57 rating, the Beoplay Eleven offers resistance to dust and water, making them suitable for a range of environments, from commuting in the rain to more rigorous activities.
In line with evolving sustainability requirements, the Beoplay Eleven is designed with replaceable batteries, aligning with upcoming European regulations for electronic devices. This feature extends the product's lifespan, allowing consumers to maintain their earbuds over the long term rather than replacing them entirely.
Technical Specifications:
The Beoplay Eleven earbuds are priced at $499 / £429 and are available now in the Natural Aluminum finish. The Copper Tone variant is set for release on December 17. Both color options are available through Bang & Olufsen’s official website and select retailers.
