Bose has just introduced a trio of new products that signal a significant overhaul of its headphone and earbud lineup. The new offerings include the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, both boasting the innovative Bose Immersive Audio technology and the standard QuietComfort Headphones with enhanced features.

Replacing the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones promise to take users to a whole new level of audio immersion, the company claims. These over-ear headphones boast a sleek and premium design, with features like folding capability for convenient storage.

One of the key highlights of the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones is the introduction of Bose Immersive Audio, aimed at delivering spatial audio experiences. This technology spatializes stereo tracks, virtually placing the sound in front of the listener. It comes with two modes, "Still" and "Motion," catering to both stationary and on-the-go listening experiences. The inclusion of Qualcomm's aptX Adaptive support ensures high-quality lossless streaming for Android users.

CustomTune calibration and Bose Aware Mode with ActiveSense are also part of the package. The latter automatically adjusts the level of noise cancellation based on the environment, ensuring users stay aware of their surroundings. Additionally, advanced microphones with beamforming technology improve call quality by minimizing external noise interference.

Battery life is impressive, offering up to 24 hours of continuous use with Immersive Audio turned off, or 18 hours with it activated. The headphones also feature convenient controls, including a capacitive touch strip for volume adjustments and shortcuts, along with a multifunctional button.

However, the new Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones come at a premium price of $429 and will be available for purchase in early October.

Replacing the highly-rated QuietComfort Earbuds II, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are Bose's answer to providing a top-notch in-ear experience. These wireless earbuds receive a refreshed design with metallic treatment and improved stability bands for a more secure fit.

The main feature, as with the Ultra Headphones, is the introduction of Bose Immersive Audio, promising a spatial audio experience that immerses the user in a wide, spacious soundstage. The earbuds also offer CustomTune, touch controls, and an IPX4 rating for added durability.

Bose has made efforts to enhance call quality in challenging environments by prioritizing the microphone on the earbud experiencing the least noise and filtering out background noise. However, the addition of Immersive Audio affects battery life, providing six hours of usage with it turned off and four hours with it activated.

Pricing for the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds sees an increase over their predecessors, with a tag of $299. Additionally, users can opt for an optional wireless charging case for $49 that is compatible with the previous QuietComfort Earbuds II.

Both the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are available in two colors, Black and White Smoke, and are available for preorder, with shipping set to commence in early October.

Bose is not just focusing on its flagship offerings; it has also introduced the QuietComfort Headphones. These headphones, replacing the QuietComfort 45, retain the classic design while adding new software features.

Users can now adjust noise cancellation levels and set custom modes, providing more control over their listening experience. Multipoint pairing and up to 24 hours of battery life make these headphones an attractive choice for those seeking quality audio without breaking the bank.

The Bose QuietComfort Headphones will be available in three colors: Black, White Smoke, and a limited-edition Cypress Green. These headphones will be the first of the trio to hit the market, with availability starting on September 21st at a competitive price of $349.
