D'Agostino Audio is the brainchild of founder Dan D'Agostino, co-founder of Krell. After selling that company in 2009, he founded D'Agostino Audio with the intention of designing and building products with a new level of sound quality, aesthetics, and more eco-friendliness.

D'Agostino Audio's most notable product is the Momentum monoblock amplifier. The visually striking amp is also the first production amplifier to use copper for its heat sink. Because of the efficiency of copper, and the clever venturi design to the holes, the heat sink is much smaller than what has been traditionally necessary. This is why the Momentum is only 4 inches high, but is rated at 300 watts into 8 ohms and 1,200 watts into 2 ohms. Frequency response is a claimed 1 Hz to 200 kHz.
