Burmester Audio

Burmester Audio, founded in Germany in 1977, produces some of the world's highest end, exclusive (and expensive) audio products featuring amplifiers, preamplifiers, D/A Converters, and loudspeakers.

Burmester feels they operate in a "creative tension between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology." The majority of parts are sourced from other German companies. Founder Dieter Burmester is a musician and engineer, having spent the years before engineering school playing guitar in a rock band.
