CBS Sports HD Now On Verizon

Verizon last week added CBS Sports Network in High-Definition, Verizon spokesman Bill Kula confirms to TVPredictions.com.

The high-def edition, which is on Verizon's channel 594, is now available to subscribers to Verizon's FiOS TV Ultimate package.

The CBS Sports Network offers a variety of sports, including college football and basketball, tennis (including early U.S. Open matches), and starting this season, Minor League Baseball action.

The channel, which launched in 2011, was previously known as the CBS College Sports Network.
