Pro-Ject Audio Systems' has been making popular and affordable turntables for more than 20 years, but the latest additions to the company's Debut Collection are as much a treat for the eyes as they promise to be to the ears. That's because its new Debut Carbon EVO turntables ($499 MSRP) are available in nine different finishes, including eight-coat, hand-painted high gloss colors, matte-finish pastel colors, and walnut veneer. Of course, they wouldn't be Pro-Ject Audio turntables if they didn't also a host of technical features, including an 8.6-inch, one-piece Carbon Fiber tonearm with a factory-mounted Sumiko Rainier Phono Cartridge.
