"Americans watch 250 billion hours of TV annually," said Joseph Lee, inventor and President of ComfortVu, LLC. "So many of them are uncomfortable doing so because their flatscreens are mounted too high on the wall, especially those placed above fireplaces. They tolerate the discomfort because they aren't aware of an alternative. But now there is one," Lee added.

Gamers, too, will welcome this change to their play. Even if their TV's are mounted at a comfortable TV viewing height, they will now be able to sit on the floor, looking directly into the world their games have created.

According to Nielsen Media Research's latest report, the average American household watches 8 ¼ hours of television in a 24-hour period. The average amount of time per individual is about 4 ½ hours. Holding one's head at a 25% angle for even a few minutes is uncomfortable, but sitting like this for hours is worse. What this new device allows for, hs spending this time in greater comfort.

The ComfortVu TV mount fits most 55" to 90" TV's and holds up to 190 lbs. The mount comes fully assembled, along with a remote control and all mounting hardware.
