Constellation Audio Debuts New Integrated Amplifier

By |

Constellation-Preamp-1.jpgHigh-end audio manufacturer Constellation Audio has added an integrated amplifier to the company's "entry-level" line. The brand new INTEGRATED 1.0 ($12,500) joins the recently announced PREAMP 1.0 (shown here), MONO 1.0, and STEREO 1.0 products in the Inspiration Series. The INTEGRATED 1.0 is rated at 100 wpc into eight ohms, with balanced and single-ended inputs and outputs. This integrated amp will be available in the first quarter of 2015.

From Constellation Audio
Constellation Audio is pleased to announce the debut of the Inspiration INTEGRATED 1.0 integrated amplifier. As the newest member of Constellation Audio's most affordable Inspiration Series, the INTEGRATED 1.0 joins its preamplifier and amplifier line-mates in delivering the performance that is expected from Constellation Audio at a more affordable price. With its ability to deliver 100 wpc into eight ohms (and twice that into four), a full array of balanced and single-ended inputs and outputs, and a preamplifier output, the INTEGRATED 1.0 is destined to become the value leader in its category.

Given its pedigree, one would expect great performance from the INTEGRATED 1.0--and it more than delivers! Designed by the same renowned Constellation Audio "dream team" that has designed the award-winning Reference Series, Performance Series, and Inspiration Series components, the INTEGRATED 1.0 benefits from shared circuit topologies and designs that are used in those components. INTEGRATED 1.0 essentially combines the preamplifier section of the Inspiration PREAMP 1.0 and one-half of the power of the Inspiration STEREO 1.0 in a single chassis. Constellation Audio's legendary attention to detail is evident down to the custom-designed binding posts used on the INTEGRATED 1.0. If significantly more power is required, the preamp outputs provide the ability to connect to larger amplifiers, such as the Inspiration MONO 1.0s. Aesthetically, the "dream team" designed casework bears a strong family resemblance to its more expensive siblings. Like all Constellation Audio components, the INTEGRATED 1.0 is 100 percent manufactured at our factory in California.
