From Control4
Control4 Corporation is now bringing 4K Ultra HD content distribution to smart homes across the world by providing fully HDCP 2.2 compliant 4K UHD audio and video matrix switches for home automation installations. 4K UHD is the new standard for high-definition video, and is redefining the home entertainment experience for consumers by providing four times the resolution of standard 1080P HD video content. Available for order today, the new line of Control4 4K UHD Matrix Switches provides the ability to distribute 4K content, including copy-protected content, to every room in the Control4 Smart Home without the need for additional hardware or software.

All Control4 4K UHD Matrix Switches are HDCP 2.2 compliant, meeting the standards set by content creators for copy protection. This ensures that our customers do not receive the black screen produced by non-compliant systems trying to play copy-protected content. In addition, the new line of Control4 multi-room 4K UHD Matrix Switches are packed with performance and flexibility, including:

• 10x10, 8x8, and 6x6 models for projects of various scales.

• A sleek and unobtrusive ultra-compact receiver eliminates the need for extra equipment or
wiring, reducing mess, costs and installation time. Powered via a single cable, this compact receiver does not require a separate power supply, keeping the equipment required in any room to a minimum.

• The necessary horsepower to distribute 4K Ultra HD video content and high-fidelity audio to up to 10 TVs in the house, from 10 unique sources.

• Advanced device management for faster and more responsive switching between video sources, giving consumers a seamless entertainment experience in every room.

• Integrated audio matrix switch extracts stereo audio from the HDMI inputs and delivers audio to up to eight zones throughout the home.

This new line of 4K UHD distribution products designed by the audio and video development experts at Leaf enables independent Control4 dealers to meet growing consumer demand for 4K UHD entertainment with a solution that is easy to install, perfect for mid-sized projects and backed by Control4 support, service and warranties.
