The Smart Appliance module takes advantage of technologies from both Card Access and Control4. The module combines Card Access's wireless networking design and Control4's ZigBee Pro mesh networking. This allows the unit to completely integrate into a Control4 system, while also reportedly enhancing the functionality of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

The app is free and enables users to control energy, create alerts, and review appliance diagnostics.
