Control4 is a home automation company that offers a little more DIY access than the higher priced Crestron and AMX products. Installers like Control4 for homes that can't justify the often high cost of a full Crestron control system.

Control4 has a wide range of control products, and has opened the 4Store, a site where you can add Apps to your Control4 system.

Full control of lighting, HVAC, security, energy management and of course music and video are all possible from Control4 touchpads, control panels, and iPhone/iPad apps.

Control4 is similar to companies like Harmony Remote and Crestron.
