Built -in support for gauges and sliders now enables programmers to create intuitive finger touch control effects. Lowering shades in the bedroom with a finger swipe on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, or setting and checking room temperatures from animated graphical gauges is a breeze. Also, homeowners and facilities managers can now view streaming video from security cameras or from any video source fed through a Crestron Network Video Streamer or any MJPEG device, right on their mobile device.

Larger GUI projects can now also be loaded directly onto the mobile device allowing smaller control systems to run full-featured touch screen interfaces. Now, the features of full Crestron and Prodigy touch panels are available in a mobile format.

Available from the iTunes App Store, Mobile Pro G was recently ranked #1 Top Grossing iPad Lifestyle App, and was the only industry iPad App to achieve Top 100 status in the iTunes App Store "Top Grossing iPad Apps" category.

Nearly all the programming capabilities of VisionTools Pro-e, Crestron's touch screen design software, are now possible when designing GUIs for Apple mobile devices. Using VT Pro-e, programmers can create touch screen interfaces that are fully integrated with a Crestron control network.

From any iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, users can control lighting, thermostats, and audio settings and view streaming video in multiple locations, such as a primary residence, vacation home and office, or across a campus. The graphical interface also provides allegedly real-time feedback, displaying status of room temperatures, audio volumes and metadata including album, song and artist, shade positions and lighting levels, right on the mobile device screen.
