The Ecovacs T50 Max Pro Omni introduces new BLAST Technology, promising to lift more dirt, hair, and debris from carpets than ever before.

Ecovacs' Latest Robot Vacuum Might Finally Fix the Carpet Cleaning Problem

If you’ve ever watched your robot vacuum struggle on carpets—leaving behind pet hair, dust, or even worse, damp spots—you’re not alone. Ecovacs’ new T50 Max Pro Omni is taking a fresh approach to tackling carpets with BLAST Technology, which promises stronger suction and better airflow to extract dirt from deep within fibers. Add in AI-driven navigation, an 18mm auto-lifting mop, and a self-emptying station, and you’ve got a vacuum that claims to do it all.

Most robot vacuums rely purely on suction, but BLAST Technology takes a different approach by combining a 100W high-torque motor, optimized airflow engineering, and a SuperBoost Battery. Ecovacs claims this battery offers 50% higher discharge current, produces 50% less heat, and lasts 2.5 times longer than typical vacuum batteries.

What does this mean in real-world use? The T50 Max Pro Omni delivers a whopping 18,500Pa of suction power, designed to pull up fine dust, pet hair, and embedded debris from carpets while maintaining steady performance without overheating.

One of the best features of the T50 Max Pro Omni is its 18mm auto-lifting mop, which helps it switch from hard floors to carpets without leaving wet streaks behind. Many robot vacuums offer only 10mm of clearance, meaning this model could be a better option for homes with thicker carpets.

However, some competing brands are taking a different approach by automatically removing mop pads when transitioning to carpets rather than lifting them. While the T50 Max Pro Omni doesn’t do that, the extra mop lift height is designed to help prevent carpets from getting damp.

Beyond its powerful suction, the T50 Max Pro Omni is packed with smart cleaning technologies designed to make vacuuming more efficient:

  • ZeroTangle Brush – Helps prevent hair from wrapping around the roller, making it especially useful for pet owners.
  • LiDAR Navigation – Maps out floor plans and allows the vacuum to navigate around obstacles with precision.
  • TruEdge 2.0 Sensors – Helps the vacuum clean along edges and corners more effectively.
  • Adaptive AI – Adjusts settings in real time based on floor type and dirt level.

Another practical feature is the self-emptying OMNI Station, which not only stores collected debris but also serves as a recharging hub. If the vacuum runs low on battery before finishing a job, it will automatically return to the station, recharge, and pick up where it left off.

The T50 Series includes a few models at different price points, catering to various needs and budgets:

  • T50 Max Pro Omni ($999.99 MSRP, currently $849.99 on Amazon): Features BLAST Technology, 18,500Pa suction, and all the advanced AI-powered cleaning tools.
  • T50 Pro Omni ($799.99 MSRP, currently $679.99 on Amazon): A more budget-friendly option with 15,000Pa suction and a slim 81mm profile for better access under furniture. It lacks BLAST Technology but still includes LiDAR navigation and advanced mopping.
  • T50 Omni ($749.99 MSRP, launching soon): An entry-level model with 12,800Pa suction and OZMO Turbo 2.0 mopping, but without some of the premium features found in the Max Pro Omni.

The T50 Max Pro Omni is available now on Amazon and Ecovacs’ website, with a 15% launch discount running until March 31.
