From Episode
Episode Signature just released their most luxurious speakers to date. Their 1700 line was engineered to deliver master?class performances for the discerning audiophile or movie buff. Episode Signature is the property of Charlotte?based SnapAV, a designer, manufacturer and exclusive source of more than 1,800 electronic home solutions for both residential and commercial channels.

“We created the Signature brand as a response to what our dealers wanted–a superior thin?bezel speaker line,” says Alex Zaliauskas, Category Manager of Episode Speakers. “Our goal was ambitious. We decided to make an architectural speaker that sounded as good as any high?end cabinet, floorstanding, and bookshelf model.” With premium lightweight materials such as an adjustable pure titanium tweeter and a forward?set honeycomb fiberglass Nomex cone woofer–whose tensile strengths reproduce cleaner, more accurate sound–and room compensation switches that allow for customized fine?tuning, Episode Signature’s 1700 series certainly delivers on that promise.

The 1700 series offers architectural in?ceiling, in?wall, surround and soon?to?be-released LCR speakers, so each individual customer can build the ultimate movie or music experience. “This is everything you’ve ever wanted in an audiophile?grade speaker,” added Zaliauskas. “You get incredibly accurate audio reproduction, dynamic transient response, and excellent low frequency extension–I can honestly say that this is the first architectural speaker that disappears into the room.” While the in?walls and in?ceilings will transform the way you hear music, the 1700 surround speakers will deliver immersive surround sound. A dual tweeter array and a bipole or dipole switch create the perfect surround sound solution for any room or application.
