Episode Speakers announces several additions to its 900 series of loudspeakers.
The Episode In-Wall HT950 is a solidly constructed speaker that claims performance to rival today's best tower loudspeakers. Measuring nearly 40-inches high and weighing 41 lbs each, this speaker system is comprised of ¾-inch MDF back boxes which reportedly contributes to consistent performance and prevents sound from bleeding into adjacent rooms.

Inside are dual 7-inch Natural Cell Structure woofers, a 5.25-inch honeycomb mid-range, a high-efficiency 4.5-inch Kapton ribbon tweeter and compensation EQs switches for each driver. The HT950 retails at $1,999 each.
Utilizing the same components (except for a mid-range driver), the smaller footprint (30 inches high and 26 lbs) dual 6.5-inch woofer-equipped HT900 LCR ($1,199 MSRP each) is designed for in-wall front channel placement in a home theater environment. For applications where the center channel is positioned horizontally, the HT900's tweeter can be rotated. Integrated is a switch to optimize the crossover network in accordance with the tweeter rotation.
The entire Episode 900 line -- including the existing In-Room 900 -- is timbre-matched for consistent 'voicing' when matching with other 900 models in the same room. All 900 models are capable of high power handling.
