Epson's astounding new EpiqVision LS650 Ultra Short Throw projector is now available for purchase! At last, you can experience larger-than-life 4K PRO UHD image projection from just inches away with this revolutionary Ultra Short Throw innovation.

Epson is once again expanding its EpiqVision projector lineup with the introduction of the EpiqVision LS650 Ultra Short Throw (UST) Laser Projector. This 4K UHD projector comes equipped with a range of features that cater to home entertainment enthusiasts.

UST projectors, like the EpiqVision LS650, have gained popularity due to their ability to project large, high-quality images from an exceptionally short distance, often less than a foot away from the screen. This not only offers a cost-effective alternative to purchasing large flat-panel TVs but also eliminates the common issue of glare associated with traditional televisions.

However, it's important to note that, like other projectors, USTs are sensitive to ambient light. While Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) screens can help mitigate this issue, the best viewing experience is still achieved in a darkened room.

Epson has been at the forefront of UST laser projector technology, with its initial foray into this category dating back to the release of the LS100, a 1080p model, in 2017. Since then, Epson has continued to innovate, offering 4K UHD models like the LS300, LS500, and most recently, the LS800.

In 2023, Epson introduces the EpiqVision LS650, which boasts a design that blends seamlessly with room decor while accommodating screen sizes ranging from 60 to 120 inches. This projector incorporates a built-in Android TV system, providing users with easy access to a plethora of streaming content. Furthermore, it features a Yamaha sound system, enhancing the audio experience.

One notable feature of the LS650 is its use of 3LCD imaging chips. Unlike many other projectors that employ DLP imaging chips, Epson's choice offers a unique approach to achieving 4K UHD display resolution through Pro UHD Pixel Shifting. This technique involves rapidly shifting the pixels on the 1080p resolution LCD chips (red, green, and blue) to create a visually seamless 4K UHD image, imperceptible to the human eye.

The LS650 also boasts Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to utilize it as a standalone speaker for Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones and tablets. Control options are diverse, including a wireless remote and support for Google Assistant voice control.

Epson EpiqVision LS650 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is available on Amazon, priced at $2499,99. Additionally, optional Epson SilverFlex (ALR) Ambient Light Rejecting Screens are available in two sizes, 100 inches and 120 inches, and are sold separately. The 100-inch screen is priced at $2,000, while the 120-inch variant is priced at $3,000.
