Founded in 1991, Final Sound was the first company to make flat speakers that matched the pending flat HDTV boom that would change consumer video forever.

Final's CEO fell into legal trouble based on past business dealings at a European voice recognition company that had serious US investors. Final Loudspeakers then lost its direction and was never able to get a foothold in the U.S. or worldwide markets.

In 2009 Final Loudspeakers went bankrupt.
