The Florida International Audio Expo is undergoing significant upgrades for its 2025 edition, with changes in location, dates, and promises of an even more immersive experience for audio enthusiasts.
Founded in 2017, the Florida International Audio Expo aims to present a robust exposition that welcomes audio-market dealers and manufacturers from around the world while providing attendees with a vibrant atmosphere for enjoying music.
Following a triumphant 2024 show, the organizers have decided to shake things up for 2025. The event will now be held at the Sheraton Tampa Brandon Hotel from Friday, February 21, to Sunday, February 23, 2025. This move marks a departure from the previous venue, the Embassy Suites, which has served admirably but can no longer accommodate the expo's growing needs.
Managing Partner Bart Andeer expressed gratitude towards Embassy Suites for their support over the years while acknowledging the necessity of finding a larger space.
“We’ve had a tremendous run with the Embassy Suites, and we appreciate their taking a chance with us as a new show in 2018, coupled with the unique challenges of hosting an audio show,” says Bart Andeer, managing partner, Florida International Audio Expo.
“There aren’t many venues that want to deal with such an event, and the team at Embassy Suites did a wonderful job of accommodating us as best they could. But we’ve steadily grown our attendee and exhibitor participation, and have simply outgrown that venue.
One of the primary motivations behind the move is to accommodate the increasing demand for exhibitor space. The 2024 event saw a sold-out exhibition space, with several companies being turned away due to the lack of options. The shift to the Sheraton Tampa Brandon Hotel aims to rectify this issue, welcoming both returning and new exhibitors for a diverse showcase of audio technology.
"Our new venue will offer more options for larger exhibitor spaces and a suitable marketplace area," Andeer said. "We sold out of 2024 exhibitor space ahead of schedule, and had to turn away several companies due to the lack of options. We anticipate welcoming many more new companies to the exhibitor mix in 2025, as well as the return of many of our amazing current partners.”
Attendees can expect a wider array of audio gear to explore, from established brands to emerging players in the industry. With larger exhibit spaces, exhibitors will have ample room to demonstrate high-fidelity audio systems, offering attendees an unparalleled listening experience. Additionally, a dedicated marketplace will feature accessories, records, and other audio-related products, catering to all facets of the audiophile community.
Despite these enhancements, ticket prices will remain unchanged, ensuring accessibility for all enthusiasts. Single-day admission will be $25, while admission for all three days will be $35. Furthermore, students, children, and spouses will continue to enjoy free admission to the expo.
The Sheraton Tampa Brandon Hotel offers convenient amenities, including a complimentary shuttle service to various destinations within three miles, including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Hotel reservations will be available soon, allowing attendees to plan their stay seamlessly.
For companies interested in exhibiting at the 2025 expo, early exhibit registration discounts are available for a limited time. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Bart Andeer via email at [email protected] for more information.
