Many older audio systems and integrated amplifiers do not include line-level outputs, which complicates the connection of powered subwoofers. The SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter addresses this by stepping down the voltage from a speaker-level connection to RCA line-level voltage.
