Hisense has introduced its L5 Series TV, with a laser light source that it says can bring a theater-quality viewing experience into your home without the complications or compromises normally associated with front projection. Combining a short-throw projector with a 100-inch, ambient light-rejecting screen, this $3,999 4K UHD "TV" incorporates the Android TV operating system and Google Assistant. It also has built-in 30-watt speakers and dbx-tv sound processing, which provides automatic volume leveling, dynamic range control, virtual surround, and EQ for a more cinematic sound experience.
