Hisense, the giant Chinese electronics manufacturer, has announced its latest addition to the home entertainment market with the unveiling of the Hisense PX3-Pro Laser Cinema Projector. Priced at $3,500, this premium triple-laser projector is set to hit the shelves in the third quarter of 2024, aiming to redefine the home viewing experience with a host of innovative features and enhancements.

Building upon the success of its predecessor, the PX2-Pro, the Hisense PX3-Pro boasts significant improvements across various aspects, promising an even more immersive and captivating viewing experience. One of the notable upgrades is the enhancement in brightness, with the PX3-Pro delivering 3,000 ANSI lumens, a notable increase from the PX2's 2,400 ANSI lumens. This enhancement is expected to offer a significant boost in performance, particularly in brightly lit environments.

David Gold, President of Hisense Americas and Hisense USA said: “We’re all drawn to the magic of big-screen cinema and the immersive experience that pulls you into the story,… The PX3-PRO is our answer to this demand, bringing the essence of cinema into your home with unmatched realism, depth, and immersion. It delivers exceptional picture and sound, along with all the enhancements that make movies truly memorable.

A standout feature of the Hisense PX3-Pro is its integration of "real-time Pro AI Algorithms," designed to elevate picture quality by enhancing brightness, fine-tuning contrast, and reducing noise. This incorporation of artificial intelligence reflects a growing trend in the industry, as seen in high-end televisions, and marks a significant step forward in projector technology.

In terms of visual capabilities, the Hisense PX3-Pro supports 4K Ultra HD resolution, utilizing Pixel Shifting technology to achieve stunningly detailed imagery. Additionally, it boasts an expanded color space, covering 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut, which translates to richer and more vibrant colors, further enhancing the viewing experience.

One of the key selling points of the Hisense PX3-Pro is its versatility in projection size, offering a range from 80 inches to an impressive 150 inches. Coupled with its ultra-short throw design, which allows for projection from just inches away from the screen, the projector provides flexibility in various room setups, catering to different viewing preferences.

Audio quality is not overlooked in the PX3-Pro, as it comes equipped with built-in 50-watt Harman Kardon speakers, a significant upgrade from its predecessor's stereo speakers. The addition of Dolby Atmos capability ensures an immersive and cinematic sound experience, complementing the visual prowess of the projector.

Furthermore, the PX3-Pro features extensive connectivity options, including three HDMI 2.1 inputs (one eARC compatible) and a Digital Optical output, catering to a wide range of multimedia devices and external audio systems. It also incorporates the Google TV smart platform, offering seamless access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, enhancing the overall user experience.

With its high refresh rates catering to gaming and sports enthusiasts, as well as its support for IMAX Enhanced, HDR10+, and polarized 3D content, the PX3-Pro aims to cater to diverse entertainment needs, delivering an unparalleled viewing experience.

The Hisense PX3-Pro Laser Cinema Projector is slated for release by September 2024, with availability at select retailers for $3,500. As the launch date approaches, Hisense is expected to provide further details regarding the projector's features and specifications, promising to elevate the standards of home entertainment.
