There’s something about Prime Day that always pulls me into impulse-buy territory. I try to be strong, I really do, but when a deal like this drops? All bets are off. Right now, you can grab the Klipsch The One Plus Bluetooth speaker for $137.49, down from its original price of $274.99 on Amazon. That’s 50% off one of the most beautifully designed home audio speakers I’ve ever laid eyes (and ears) on.

And this isn’t just a pretty face.

The One Plus is a modern take on a vintage tabletop speaker, part of Klipsch’s Heritage Inspired series. If you’ve never heard of it before, imagine a mid-century modern radio had a baby with a 21st-century smart speaker. The result is a boxy, retro-chic design wrapped in real wood veneer with tactile metal knobs on top, and the sound quality to match.

It’s compact enough to fit on a bookshelf, nightstand, or kitchen counter, but powerful enough to fill a room with warm, rich sound. And unlike a lot of Bluetooth speakers, The One Plus doesn’t try too hard to be trendy. No flashy lights. No weird touchpads. Just quality components, great design, and a serious audio pedigree from a company that's been around since 1946.

I’ve used a lot of Bluetooth speakers over the years. Some have killer bass. Others are great for taking to the beach. But few have ever made me want to put them front and center on my shelf. Klipsch The One Plus is different.

Here’s what stood out for me:

  • Gorgeous Retro Design: The real-wood cabinet and brushed metal controls give it a look that works equally well in a vintage living room, a sleek office, or next to a stack of vinyl records.
  • Surprisingly Big Sound for Its Size: This little box houses two 2.25-inch full-range drivers and a 4.5-inch woofer, plus dual passive radiators for some added oomph. It delivers true 2.1 stereo sound, which is rare in this form factor. You can feel the richness in vocals and instruments, and while the bass won’t shake your floor, it’s tight, punchy, and definitely present.
  • USB-C and 3.5mm Inputs: Most Bluetooth speakers these days are wireless only. The One Plus gives you the best of both worlds. Want to plug it into your laptop via USB-C? Done. Prefer the good ol’ aux cable? No problem.
  • Bluetooth 5.3 with Klipsch Broadcast Mode: This is one of my favorite features. With Broadcast Mode, you can link up to 10 Klipsch One or Three Plus speakers together. That means multi-room audio without needing a Wi-Fi network. Think dinner party or weekend cleaning playlist pumping through your whole apartment.
  • Klipsch Connect App for EQ Tweaks: The companion app lets you fine-tune the sound to your liking—something you don’t usually see on speakers in this price range.

As much as I love it, the Klipsch One Plus isn’t for everyone. There are a couple of limitations to know before you hit "Add to Cart":

  • No built-in battery – This is a plugged-in, AC-powered speaker only. If you're looking for something to toss in a backpack and take to the park, this isn’t it.
  • No waterproofing – Again, this is for the indoors. Think of it as more of a home audio piece than a portable party speaker.
  • Not for bass-heads – While it has more than enough low-end for small to medium rooms, it doesn’t try to mimic a subwoofer. You’ll get clarity, warmth, and balance—not booming bass.

But this speaker isn’t trying to be everything for everyone. Instead, it nails a specific niche:

  • Casual audiophiles – If you want better sound than a cheap Bluetooth speaker but aren’t building a full hi-fi setup, this is perfect.
  • Design lovers – It’s as much a statement piece as it is a speaker.
  • People who love music but hate tech headaches – No crazy setup. Just plug in, pair up, and play.

Honestly, at full price, I might’ve passed. But at under $140? This feels like one of those rare Prime Day finds that actually is worth it. The One Plus brings great sound, beautiful design, and a touch of nostalgia that feels right at home in today’s world of smart speakers and flat-pack furniture.

If you’ve been wanting to add a little more soul to your setup—without spending Sonos-level money—this is your shot. I grabbed one for my office a while ago, but now I’m thinking about getting another for the bedroom. If you’ve got a cozy corner that needs a sonic upgrade, I’d jump on this deal before it’s gone.

Here’s what we’re working with:

  • Original price: $274.99
  • Current price: $137.49 on Amazon
  • You save: $137.50 (yep, exactly half)

It’s rare to see Klipsch gear discounted this deeply, especially something this stylish and well-built. If you’re someone who appreciates both form and function, this deal is hard to beat.
