Klipsch and Onkyo are stepping into the world of Jurassic World Rebirth—but not with fossil brushes or lab coats. Instead, they’re bringing their home audio gear into the spotlight as the exclusive audio partners for the upcoming film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, which hits theaters on July 2, 2025.
The partnership, announced by parent company Premium Audio Company (PAC), is all about showing movie fans what home theater sound can really do. Whether it’s the thunder of dinosaur footsteps or the subtle tension before a jungle ambush, the idea is to give audiences a taste of the movie’s sonic intensity, right in the store.
As part of the campaign, Klipsch and Onkyo are rolling out in-store promotions at authorized retailers, complete with co-branded displays and demo setups. The goal is to let people hear what their systems are capable of using scenes and soundscapes inspired by Jurassic World Rebirth. So if you walk into a store and hear a T. rex roar through a Klipsch speaker, you’ll know why.
According to Dave Gans, PAC’s Global Vice President of Marketing, this is their biggest global collaboration yet. The campaign is designed to ramp up ahead of the movie’s release and is aimed at connecting fans of the franchise with home audio gear that can deliver a similar kind of intensity, without requiring a trip to the theater.
“We’re incredibly excited to debut our biggest global collaboration with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment around this thrilling new era in this iconic film franchise,” said Gans, “Both Klipsch and Onkyo have spent nearly 80 years perfecting the art of immersive sound–engineered to put fans right in the heart of the action. Jurassic World Rebirth is the ultimate showcase of that experience.”
If you’ve been following the Jurassic franchise over the years, you know the drill: dinosaurs, danger, and science gone a bit too far. Jurassic World Rebirth is the next chapter in the saga, picking up five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. Dinosaurs are no longer roaming free—they’re now isolated in pockets of tropical ecosystems that resemble their ancient habitats.
The film stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, a covert ops expert leading a high-stakes mission to retrieve valuable genetic material from some of the most massive dinosaurs still alive. She’s joined by Mahershala Ali as her right-hand man, and Jonathan Bailey plays a paleontologist who’s roped into the mission.
Things get complicated when Zora’s mission crosses paths with a family that’s been shipwrecked on the same island. As you might guess, the island is crawling with dinos, and hiding some dark secrets from the original Jurassic Park days.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One), with a script by Jurassic Park writer David Koepp, the film mixes big-budget action with a plot that dives into the implications of genetic research and bioengineering. The cast also includes Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, and Ed Skrein, among others.
For Klipsch and Onkyo, this isn’t just about brand visibility—it’s about giving people a real sense of what immersive audio sounds like. Whether it’s through surround sound systems or stereo setups, the companies want to show how sound plays a huge role in movie-watching at home.
Retailers will be able to demo the gear using branded materials tied to the film, making it easier for customers to connect what they’re hearing to what they’ve seen on screen. And while there’s no word yet on whether limited-edition products or special bundles are coming, fans can follow the campaign on the companies’ social media pages for updates.
As Jurassic World Rebirth heads toward its release date, expect to see more of this partnership show up online and in stores. Whether you’re planning to see the movie in theaters or waiting to stream it at home, the roar of the dinosaurs might sound a little more convincing if it's coming through the right speakers.
