Klipsch has announced the release of the Flexus Core 300, marking a significant innovation as the world’s first sound bar to feature Dirac Live Room Correction Technology. This latest addition to the Flexus Series aims to elevate home audio experiences by integrating advanced sound correction features and immersive audio technologies.

“I have experienced only a few products in my tenure with Klipsch that have the capability to shift the trajectory of our business in such a dramatic way,” said Klipsch CEO, Paul Jacobs.“The fusion of the Klipsch and Onkyo engineering efforts in the Flexus series, now coupled with the world’s first integration of Dirac Live, the Core 300 marks a significant milestone for the company. It’s an exciting time for our partners as we take this journey together.”

The Flexus Core 300 sets itself apart by incorporating Dirac Live Room Correction Technology, a feature that optimizes audio performance by adjusting sound output to the acoustics of the listening space. This technology corrects both the magnitude and phase of the sound system, including the influence of the room itself. The result is a more transparent and balanced audio output, characterized by tighter bass, improved sound staging, and enhanced clarity.

Dirac Live’s integration allows the Flexus Core 300 to offer a more refined listening experience, making it a standout option for audiophiles and casual listeners alike who are seeking high-quality sound tailored to their individual spaces.

“Our collaboration with Klipsch on their all-new Flexus Core 300 sound bar proves that cutting-edge room correction technology is no longer just for the high-end AVR market – it’s now also for the mainstream consumer audio market,” stated Fredric Tapper, Dirac’s VP of Home & Pro Audio.

“Dirac and Klipsch share a deep and unwavering commitment to audio excellence, which has been brought to bear in the Dirac Live-enabled Klipsch Flexus Core 300 soundbar – a world’s first product that sets a new standard in soundbar audio performance.”

Positioned as the flagship model of the Flexus Series, the Core 300 builds on the foundation established by its predecessors, the Core 200 and Core 100. It boasts a 5.1.2-channel configuration, featuring an array of drivers that contribute to its powerful and immersive sound output.

The sound bar includes two 2.25-inch up-firing and two 2.25-inch side-firing drivers, along with four front-firing 2.25-inch drivers. These components are designed to deliver an expansive soundstage, supported by four built-in 4-inch subwoofers that provide deep, resonant bass.

The Core 300 also features a dedicated center channel equipped with Klipsch’s horn-loaded tweeter technology, which enhances vocal intelligibility and ensures that dialogue remains clear, even at varying volume levels. This focus on clarity and detail aims to meet the demands of modern content, providing a listening experience that captures the nuances of both music and movies.

Alongside the Flexus Core 300, Klipsch is introducing new additions to the Flexus Series, including the Flexus Surround 200 wireless surround speakers and the Flexus Sub 200 wireless subwoofer.

The Flexus Surround 200 speakers are designed to further enhance the audio experience with up-firing drivers that create a more immersive Dolby Atmos multichannel surround sound environment. These speakers offer a simplified setup process, as each unit plugs directly into a wall outlet without the need for wires between the speakers.

The Flexus Sub 200, featuring a 12-inch high-excursion woofer, delivers robust and powerful bass. Users have the option to connect up to two Sub 200 units to any of the Flexus Core sound bars, providing flexibility in configuring their audio setup to meet personal preferences.

Klipsch has equipped the Flexus Core 300 and its related products with a range of features aimed at enhancing user convenience and connectivity. The new Connect Plus app, available for both iOS and Android devices, provides one-tap access to input selection, EQ presets, firmware updates, and a comprehensive offering of streaming options, including Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify, and Tidal Connect.

The Flexus Series also emphasizes modularity, allowing users to expand their audio system over time. This design philosophy is supported by Klipsch’s transport technology, which simplifies setup by using a pre-paired USB transmitter included with surround speakers and subwoofers, reducing the complexity of configuration.

The design of the Flexus Core 300 reflects Klipsch’s heritage, with an emphasis on durability and aesthetics. The sound bars feature rounded vertical edges and are styled with premium materials, including wood grain-textured vinyl top panels, metal grilles, and cloth-wrapped fronts and sides.

The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 will be available this winter, with a suggested retail price of $999. Additional products in the Flexus Series, including the Flexus Surround 200 and Flexus Sub 200, will be priced at $399 and $499, respectively.
