Fresh news from Klipsch this morning, the company has announced a new flagship for its Heritage speaker line. The Klipsch Jubilee takes the top spot away from the Klipschorn, it is the company's most powerful and pricey speaker.
The Jubilee is a 100% horn-loaded design that offers tremendous efficiency. Consequently, it can achieve high output levels with minimal wattage. But it is also a large and powerful speaker with dual 12-inch horn-loaded woofers and a new compression driver that features a 7-inch titanium diaphragm. Also, the new Jubilee is an active speaker design, including a built-in DSP crossover network plus EQ. This approach is said to tackle phase cancellation and allows—demands, really—the use of multiple amplifiers for power.
This bar-raising speaker comes with a 10-year warranty and is made of grain-matched wood veneer panels (from the same timber, says Klipsch) so each speaker pair has the same wood grain characteristics making them a true pair. as for pricing and availability, you can order them now and the cost is $35,000 per pair.
