LG and Meridian Audio have teamed up to deliver future audio products, such as soundbars and wireless speakers, under the LG brand. In recent years, LG has partnered with HARMAN to develop speaker systems for LG's flat-panel TVs. LG's award-winning, innovative consumer electronics coupled with Meridian's unrivaled sound technology will deliver unique solutions to consumers and a supreme entertainment experience.

LG has a long history of developing audio products for global consumers, and the partnership with U.K.-based Meridian will raise the bar on acoustic performance, using natural and authentic sound derived from rigorous research and development. LG and Meridian will collaborate on an array of LG audio products, including sound bars and wireless speakers.

Meridian has driven the audio industry forward as a pioneer in high-performance, high-fidelity audio for over forty years. An authority on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and the field of psychoacoustics, Meridian has influenced every facet of the industry. Meridian played a fundamental role in the development and adoption of revolutionary audio technologies such as Hi-Res Audio and MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) and is the creator of the world's first digital active loudspeaker. Meridian also set a new standard for automotive audio with the world's first in-car 3D surround sound system in 2012.
